Schechtl MSC 400/NC

Model MSC is a motor driven plate shear with a cutting capacity of max. 3,0 mm sheet thickness (related to 3100 mm working length). Handling is verly easy: Put the sheet onto the table, push it between the cutting bars and start the process with the foot switch - that's al. The machine frame is a computer optimized welded steel design. The cutting bar is driven by crank drive and a noiseless gear motor on each side of the machine. Along the machine table there are sheet support covers of stainless steel with a snap lock system. Between the sheet support covers there adjustable front support arms with T-slots, 1000 mm scales and gauge fingers for easy front gauging. On each side of the cutting table there are rectangular gauges with stainless steel scales of 1000 mm . During the cut a mechanical hold-down bar with non-skid ebonite lining holds the part. A sheet support behind the machine returns the part to the front and delivers it to an integrated sheet catching device. All bearings and guideways are maintenance free. Model MSC comes standard withan easy blade gap adjustment on both side stands. Upper and lower blade consist of high-quality steel with two edges.

Model HT is a manual operated plate shear with a cutting capacity of up to 1,25 mm steel (related to 2040 mm working length). Handling is very easy: Sheets are put onto the table, pushed between the cutting bars and cut by tropping one of the levers on each side of the machine - that's all. Model HT is a sturdy welded steel construction. The cutting bar is mechanically driven by an eccentric operated by levers. On each side of the cutting table there are rectangular gauges with a scale of 320 mm (stainless steel). During the cut a mechanical hold-down bar with non-skid ebonite lining holds the part. An extensible support bar in front of the machine enlarges the area of support to 920 mm. All bearings and guides are maintenance-free.

Model MSB is a sturdy welded steel design with a reinforced cutting bar driven by a crank drive. On each side of the cutting table there are rectangular gauges with a scale of 400 mm (stainless steel). During the cut a mechanical hold-down bar with non-skid ebonite lining holds the part. An extensible support bar in front of the machine enlarges the area of support to 920 mm.

All bearings and guideways are maintenance free.

Model MAE is a motor driven bending machine with a capacity of max. 3,0 mm (related to 3100 mm working length). The upper beam is driven by spindels. In conbination with our patented goats foot tooling (Click System) model MAE is the perfect machine for industrial application. The work sheet is led through upper- and under beam and clamped with upper beam. So the piece doesn't slide forwards being clamped and the accuracy is preserved. The upper beam can be opened to approx. 210 mm. Model MAE is also available with segmented goats foot tooling with the new Click System (see accessories) to bend boxes and pans. Model MAB is a motor driven bending with a capacity of max. 2,0 mm (related to 3100 mm working length). The power and speed of the frequency inverter controlled machine elements make model MAB a "work horse" among bending machines. Its massive design provides a maximum flexibility both from thin materials to sheet thicknesses up to 3 mm aluminium. Nevertheless its machine elements, e.g. the bending beam, are very compact and provide maximum safely in front of the machine. IWith MAB/CNC version with SCHECHTL CNC Touch Control and a motor driven back gauge bending sheets of 3 m is a one-man job. The work sheet is led through upper and lower beam and clamped with the controlled upper beam. So the piece doesn't slide forwards being clamped and the accuracy is preserved. The upper beam clamping pressure can be adjusted on each side of the machine separately. The upper beam can be opened to approx. 140 mm. Model MAB comes standard with a sharp edged rail 20° and a profile rail 20°, r = 2 mm for the upper beam and one of each insert rail 68/10 and 68/24 for the bending beam. All bending rails are exchangeable. The bending beam can be adjusted to different sheet thicknesses within a second.

The speed of the bending beam with 80°/sec and the opening of the upper beam with 50 mm/sec are impressing. The upper beam opens while the bending beam moves down so the part can to be positioned for the next step simultaneously. The combination of the SCHECHTL CNC Touch Control, the motor-operated back gauge and the movable foot switch provides a bending system for "one-man-operation" even for sheets up to 3100 mm. The work sheet is led through upper- and under beam and clamped perpendicular with the controlled closing of the upper beam. So the piece doesn't slide forwards being clamped and the accuracy is preserved. The upper beam clamping pressure can be adjusted on each side of the machine separately. The upper beam can be opened to approx. 140 mm.
