The wild cladding is probably the most unusual type of slate roofing. It distinguishes itself by an optically "wild" type of laying which, however, is backed by an exact and careful masterly performance: For the wild roofing the slates are delivered untrimmed to the building site and the major part of them are given their individual shape suited to the shape of the roofing image by the roofer only on the roof itself.
