Erlus Lotus®
(Ergoldsbacher Forma®)
In August of 2004, at the second MATERIALICA Design Awards, Erlus AG won an award in the category "Material" for Erlus Lotus®. The principle of Erlus Lotus® was the deciding factor: The burned-in surface finish of this Erlus clay roof tile destroys organic dirt particles with the aid of the sunlight, and the next rain just washes it all away.
